This listing is for a vintage Wolf Creek clickity clack kinetic Santa toy. The two piece toy features a starry blue background with a brick chimney at the base. A hand carved Santa is placed at the top of the toy and he. Slides down the wood pegs into the chimney.

The alternating peg design gives Santa an easy descent into the chimney for his Christmas deliveries. The piece measures approximately 24-1/2" tall by 6" wide by 7 deep. The wooden toy captures the joy of children around the holidays.

It would be a stunning piece to add to any Wolf Creek collection. Wolf Creek Woodworking was a family owned toy factory that manufactured wooden toys and other primitive wooden art objects in the late 1970s through the mid to late 1990s. The factories were located in Beaman and Eldora, Iowa. The Wolf Creek Woodworking company was noted for employing mostly retired area natives known as the "Elderly Elves". These Grandpas and Grandmas hand built a variety of solid wood, primitive and folk art objects.

The "Elderly Elves" worked diligently to provide wood-crafted folk art objects and primitive wooden pieces that could be used and cherished for generations. Most of the pieces are signed by the artist who crafted and painted each individual piece. We have a small amount of the remaining inventory, and many came from the personal collections of the original owners. Please view the pictures / scans.
