Vintage Handmade Santa Claus in Sleigh

  
This is a wonderful, vintage collectible for holiday display. Santa, his clothing, toys, lap throw, shoes, body, hat; everything has been.

Hand made by the artist. The delicate stitching and carefully formed. Components reflect the artist's attention to detail. By the artist; Marsha Johnston, 1989. The sleigh has been painted green.

With accenting gold stars and gold runners. It is the only part of the piece. That I don't think the artist made herself.

The piece has had some beard shedding onto the clothing while in storage. There are also a few holes in the wool clothing, a minor amount of wear. To the paint, with bits that can be corrected, as shown in the images.

Made with care, this art piece would be a striking addition to your. Parcels measuring more than 12 inches on a side carry a premium.
