Vintage Antique Santa Claus Figure 1930 Japan in Boot. Item consists of one Santa and one boot. Has a kindly, hand-painted face with twinkly blue eyes. His beard is pulled away from his cheeks a bit. He is holding a staff in one hand and a toy bag string in the other.

He is in good shape with a little wear due to age. He is from Japan 1920's to 1930's time frame. He is sitting in a candy cup that looks original and he has no legs. Santa is 4 inches high to the peak of his cap and about an inch wide.

His body seems to be cardboard and wire. The arm holing the staff is movable ; the other is glued to his beard. See pictures with and without the protector. This is a rare and unusual vintage Christmas find and would be a great addition to any vintage collection.
