Store Maintained By : Ellis Antique. Nicholas Santa Claus Composition Christmas Decoration Germany. Vintage wood composition standing Santa Claus Christmas decoration display, c1950's, Germany. Entire body, including face, feet, arms, and lantern are all composed of a wood composition material. The face shows rosy cheeks, a big fluffy beard, and neat green eyes.

Dressed in a one-piece, red with white accent coat. Santa's right hand has a circular hole and is holding a brown stick, while a black and tan lantern hangs from his left side. A woven basket is draped over both sides of his back.

Round tan base glued to Santa's black boots. Black underside shows a glued piece of paper reading "Made in US-Zone Germany". Measures about 9" Tall x 3 3/4" Wide x 3 3/4 Deep.

No issues with the wooden composition. Face isn't cracked or discolored but does show a tiny bit of age. Stick and woven basket are fully intact.
