Christmas Express from Clothtique Santas by Possible Dreams 1992 Music Box Clothtique Santa. Complete -- with attached barrel, small wreath, lantern, and Santa's list checked by the Elf. Rare -- In Original Box.
Santa, perched in his Christmas Express train engine, is set to bring presents and good cheer to everyone for the holidays. There are toys and a lovely little tree behind him in the Express, and toys in his large bag at the back. He's accompanied by one of his elves who sits at the back and keeps track of Santa's list.
Santa is carrying a lantern to see in the snow and holds onto a string attached to a bell. His Christmas Express is decorated with two wreaths, one larger, one smaller, in front.
The wheels move, but only about 1/4 of a turn in order to keep the sleigh in place wherever you might display it. Also, the small wreath on the smoke stack is removable. This is a music box and plays, "Here Comes Santa Claus".
Santa's hat and coat display the "clothtique" feel - using a highly developed process to render an amazingly real-life representation. Used but in beautiful condition. Single owner who carefully displayed and stored it. The original box shows wear and usage of tape on the top across the front, on the top flap, on the box bottom, and on a lower rear corner.
There is also a small puncture in the lower front of the box. A charming and delightful creation, the Christmas Express would be a beautiful addition to your home for the holidays.
