OOAK 19 Santa Claus Doll by Maria Stolz USING Antique FABRIC Fur Beads Purse

  
An outstanding hand crafted Santa by famous Maria Stolz, signed and dated 1994. Large in size he measures about 19 inches tall & the base is 11 long. No COA (or box if one issued).

This Santa is 23 years old and has held up well, however any items such as the glitter, faux snow, fabric fibers or real wool beard will naturally shed as expected. You may also see glue residue in the making.

Father Christmas/St Nicholas Old World Natural Theme with standing child doll dressed in foreign dress holding a wooden clock, Santa's other arm holds a boy doll, some type of toy instrument. Hand stitched patchwork quilt garb, crocheted hat & real suede fabric shoes, fur are some of the fabrics in the making. An old tapestry purse is Santas bag (this opens as shown with mirror inside) & beaded belt bucket. The fluffy snow fluff on the wood base is old and tattered from age. Glitter in spots to mimic snow.

All items used in the making of her beautiful Santa are antique or vintage, so it will naturally have an aged or folk art appearance, which enhances her creations & gets better as the years pass.
