SANTA, CHRISTMAS TREE, SLEIGH, CHRISTMAS LIST, TEDDY BEARS, TOYS, ETC. IS INCREDIBLY DETAILED IN BOTH FABRIC AND DESIGN. SANTA IS DRESSED IN A FUR-TRIMMED RED VELVET COAT/HAT.
THE OVAL WOODEN BASE ON WHICH THE SANTA AND DECORATIONS ARE MOUNTED HAS A SLEIGH, TEDDY BEARS, HORNS, HARP, WRAPPED GIFTS, ROCKING HORSE, ETC. IS SIGNED BY CHELSEA FAIR. Chelsea Fair has been handcrafting old-world style Santa Clauses and his different facades in her workshop for the past 21 years.
Each one of the costumes is made by hand and sewn out of faux furs and velvet in Fairs warehouse. She said the only pre-made items they order are accessories, including ornaments, animals and hats. The attention to detail paid off. When the Fairs decided to sell the Santas to wholesalers, Neiman Marcus continues to be one of their loyal clients.
