This authentic, signed Linda Randall decoration depicts Santa in the midst of making Teddy Bears. Like many of her other original pieces, this Santa wears a vest made out of an authentic 19th century quilt.

The name of this creation is "Bear Parts": Santa is posed with a bear leg in his right hand; completed bear on his right forearm; a toy sack burgeoning with bear parts at his feet; another little bear next to that who is all put together; and a bear paw and leg here and there nearby. DETAILS: Santa has a cloth torso; wired, cloth arms; and wood frozen legs.

His head, face and hands are finely sculpted and hand-painted and he has long wispy hair and beard. All clothing is sewn or glued in place.

His attire features a long sleeved cream color linen shirt with flared cuffs; patchwork vest made from an antique 19th c. Quilt; and red flannel trousers with a fold-over, self-fringed belt. His boots are molded plaster. Other decorative details include a bristle wreath tied by red satin bow to his waist; cloth holly leaf adornments and the twine-tied white linen toy sack of bear parts. "Bear Parts" is hand written on the striped paper banner attached to the toy sack. This figure is securely mounted on a solid wood base which is signed. All original, fully intact and structurally sound. All stitching is intact and this item has no spots, discoloration, fraying, flea bites, fading, pulls or other damage. All components are securely in place and there are no missing pieces.

Stands level on its' strong wood mount. Artist's signature, number and date are clear on base. This is a clean and completely odor-free item.
