Frontier Santa Claus 19 sculpted by Brenda Goin Morris 2000 OOAK figure doll

  
The Frontier Santa, sculpted by Brenda Goin Morris. The Frontier Santa's face is sculpted in polymer clay and his hair and beard are lamb's wool. This one-of-a-kind figure was made December 2000. He wears suede pants and a fringed brown suede coat are trimmed in mink. A stuffed bear hangs from the shoulder strap of Santa's small leather bag.

His boots are brown leather and trimmed in mink. He wears a mink hat. The buckle on his leather belt is an old wooden earring. On his back he totes a burlap sack trimmed in gold and red fringe.

In the sack he carries a wooden rocking horse, doll house, apples, mittens and scarf and a small evergreen tree. A wooden bell and a hand-painted jack-in-the-box hang from the sack. He carries a pinecone wreath in one hand and holds a walking stick in the other. I've inherited a lot of cute-n-quirky stuff recently, and I simply don't have the room for all of it. They were all collected and treasured by two wonderful people with good taste and a quirky sensibility.
