Exceptionally RARE Cold Painted GERMAN Georg Heyde SANTA CLAUS w SLED Husky DOGS. Exceptionally RareSANTA CLAUS on SLED with HUSKY DOGS. Offering a RARE circa 1910 polychrome cold painted depiction of 4 HUSKY DOGS Pulling a SLED with SANTA CLAUS. Made by the famed Georg Heyde of Dresden, Germany. I have never seen this exact figure but have seen an identical Santa/sleigh with two Reindeer (rather than Husky dogs) identified as HEYDE. It was indicated that the reindeer piece is VERY HARD TO FIND and this exceptional piece with DOGS is one notch above in rarity!

This high quality metal rendering. Is solid cast as was the method of the Heyde figures and s. Tamped GERMANY very faintly on the bottom.

The original wire reins are intact and still attached to the Santa figurine. The paint is in wonderful condition with minor paint. There is no breakage or loss noted. This superb figure is worthy of the finest Santa or Heyde collection.

Treat yourself or a loved one to this rare treasure. 5 wide and the figure stands approx. 2 tall to tip of cap. Very nice for age and fragility and ready for display.
