This is one of Bethany Lowe's very first pieces. She began 1987 and this one is signed 1988... Way before her stuff became mass produced. This piece has wonderful details. In Santa's sleigh are toys; a sled, a doll, wagon, Monopoly game, wrapped gifts, guitar, a horn, and a mini Santa. On the back is a lantern... All of these are stolen excellent condition. Santa has a fluffy beard and a fur trimmed cap.

Bottom shows name " Santa's Sleighride , " signed, numbered #36 , and dated. This piece is 13" tall, 14 1/2" front to lantern, and 8 wide. You will not find another one just like it. This one is a rare early beautiful Christmas piece by Bethany Lowe. You will not be disappointed.
