Antique Santa Claus Doll Candy Container Made in Germany in Box

  
Offered is this antique turn of the 20th century Santa Claus doll candy container figure. He has a long cardboard tube inside his body that removes at his boots. He is a large one measuring about 14.5" high to his head or 16" to the top of his hood. He wears a beautifully made white cotton brushed flannel coat. It has covered buttons wrapped with gold cord. The pleated fabric is backed with buckram mesh and it has puffy sleeves.

His head and boots are composition. He holds switches in one hand and has decorations hanging from his belt. His box is marked Made in Germany. The bottom of his boots looks like he is missing a base of some sort.
