Antique German Santa Claus Riding Fur Covered Horse

  
This is an antique German Santa Claus riding a beautiful paper mache horse covered with real fur. The horse measures 9" nose to tail and 9" to the top of his head. He has glass eyes and a hand carved and painted nose. He has nicely detailed imitation leather trappings and a red felt blanket for Christmas. Santa has felt clothing and has a real fur collar and trim on his jacket. He has a charming hand painted face and a rabbit fur beard. He carries a feather tree and a tiny satchel that matches horse's tack.

He has a Germany label on his boot and measures 7 1/2. The horse has some minor fur loss, but overall both Santa and horse are in very nice condition. A wonderful Christmas pair for horse lovers.
