Santa himself measures 42" and the stand is 6" tall. When you plug him in he bends to the side at the waist.

His arms are poseable-they can be positioned to be up or down. He is on a wooden framed cardboard stand-the heels of his sturdy plastic boots are screwed to the stand and stapled to the " wrapped gift" that is also stapled to the stand. The stand and the present show some wear and peeling. As for the Santa and his suit, it does have some yellowing to the white area and some graying to his beard.

If you want to leave him as is, I do think it just adds to his aged look and it certainly does not take away from his charm. He has no tears or holes to his suit and I see no obvious repairs, but I have only owned him for a short time and I have no idea what he has been up to for the last 50+ years! There is a bit of old glitter left to his stand. The inside frame of his body is made of a heavy cardboard. Please feel free to ask any questions!
