Vintage Christmas June McKenna Santa Claus Statue Decoration 1989 Wardrobe Toys. 15" Tall, 10 1/2" Long, 10 Wide. These were handpainted with remarkable skill. June McKenna is a well known sculptor, painter and artist.
She has work in museums and in the Smithsonian. In the early 1980s she created a hand made line of folk art and Christmas collectibles. All of these pieces were hand cast in a wood composition, sealed by her husband and individually hand painted in Virginia.
