Stunning Early German Large Santa Claus Father Christmas Candy-container
This is the nicest Santa I ever had the pleasure of owning, now he is looking for a new home.. Absolutely rare and stunning huge Santa Claus, made around 1900/1920. In this size and in this good condition very hard to find these days. The wonderful painted character face shows no cracks or stains, the felt coat has a few r moth holes, mainly on the back, due to his age. The boots have a few small tears (see photos), but nothing that need to be fixed. Santa Claus has a cardboard body under his coat, but it does not open, so no candy-container. Furbeard, fur collar, an absolutely great collector's item, standing 22 tall measured from top of head. He is holding a goose feather-sprig in his hand.
