Rare 5 Foot Tall Vintage Animated Harold Gale Santa Claus With Gold Vest

  

I would put his age around the 1960s. Measures approximately 5 foot tall. Moves body side to side and right arm up and down when working.

His issues are: metal rod on inside that moves him side to side is broken, bracket that attaches his shoulder to the motor is also broken, part of his beard is missing and his hair, remaining beard also needs reattached and fluffing, wear and staining to clothing, and overall wear from use. He can look great again with a thorough restoration. His outfit also is more detailed than most of Harold Gales other Santas. Most of the white trim on this one is reinforced with wire to hold its shape. I have never seen a 5 foot tall gold vest animated version like this from Harold Gale. Upon arrival you will have to rescrew his torso to the frame with the enclosed screws and reattach the wires to the motor with the 2 wire nuts provided. I have not see another one like this for sale.
