Antique VTG Santa Claus Riding Cloth Covered Dog Pull Toy Christmas Decoration
Cute Japan Santa riding a cloth covered dog pull toy. Santa has composition face, hands, and boots. He is wearing a red felt suite, blue pants and has a green chenille feather tree in his hand. Dog is composition covered in tan fabric, has black eyes, floppy cloth ears and tail, black collar, and stick legs mounted in pull toy wood. Pull toy has metal wheels. Some vintage soiling to both pieces. Cloth on dog has thinned, there may be some holes, some cloth missing on left front foot, tail/ears have some frayed edges, and back right foot missing wooden piece that inserts in platform. Wheels bend out a bit/loose but stands fine. Santa is approx 5 1/2 tall tip of hat to boots.
Dog pull toy is 5" H, 4 1/2" l. Santa on pull toy is approx. A very cute piece to place on your mantle , on a side table or under your feather tree. Please contact me with any questions. Please check out my other listings of antique and vintage collectibles!
