Antique 1920s German mechanical Santa figure. Hand painted formed face with fluffy white rabbit fur beard. Paper mache figure wearing a red plush robe trimmed with white. His robe is tied with a string belt. Blue felt pants over black paper mache boots / footwear.

Mechanical movement initiated by key in bank. With gentle rotation of the key, Santa's head nods and his right plastic hand moves up and down.

Measures 9 1/2 tall (approx 24cm). He is missing his left hand.
