Antique German Santa Claus Candy Container 12in

  
This is a rare old German Santa Claus candy container. He is a nice size and measures just over 12 to the top of his hood. Santa's clothing is felt with fleece trim and is an unusual burgundy color. The hood and sleeves are lined with dark blue crepe paper. He has a very detailed hand painted face with a sweet expression, and a nice rabbit fur beard. Santa carries a feather tree and a net bag for toys or candy. His tree is topped with a tiny metal candle holder. The mica covered wooden base is marked Germany.
