Antique German Belsnickle Red Robe Santa Claus Candy Container w Feather Tree

  

This is a nice, original antique Christmas Belsnickle red robe santa claus candy container. Item measures approx 6 1/2" tall, 2 1/4" wide at widest. There is surface, corner and edge wear, has been glued long ago -at bottom where I assume the container separated. Also small spot of glue at left seam of robe. Some flaking of original paint/mica type surface.

Tree appears to be made of feathers. Item weighs approx 3.8 oz. This item would make a great addition to any collection.
